Our aim is to provide an array of services that are designed to educate our residents about addictive disorders, form new healthy responses, engage in behaviour which promotes re-sensitizing and healthy functioning. We offer counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), pharmacotherapy, meditation, music and art therapy. Adding to this, a range of physical activities including yoga, gardening, group training and regular walks. Along with daily attendance to 12 step, peer based support groups.
Through the Bluebird House program, our residents will develop new skills, tools and coping mechanisms necessary for ongoing, long lasting recovery. Learning to take on responsibility, becoming accountable for their actions and forming newer, more meaningful relationships with themselves and those around them. All this whilst living in a supported community with our qualified staff at Bluebird House.
